This is our favorite item this summer! The Puddle Jumper!
It is approved by the US Coast Guard as a flotation device for kiddos.
My little tot is 16 months and he loves the freedom that this device gives him.
I love it because it does not force him face down in the water.
He learned very quickly how to lean back and wet his hair and maneuver himself in the water.
He weighs 23 lbs and the wt on the packaging is 30 lbs.
However I found that it fits him snuggly and it takes mommy power to
get the "armies" off.
The device clips in the back and is adjustable and fits my little guy just right.

Of course never allow your child to be near water unsupervised.
1000 children die each ear from drowning.
Please always have your eyes on your child near water.
